The good, the bad, and the ugly

So we'll start with the bad news first. The bad news: My cat, Ruby, wandered out of an open door last night :( I am heartbroken. The ugly: He's "special"- brain damaged as a kitten, he can't do things like drink out of a water dish too well or clean his fur. I don't think he's going to find his way home by himself. This cat was so small when we got him that we would carry him out with us in Ella's diaper bag on one of her preemie diapers (just in case, wink wink). We fed him special kitty formula out of a bottle, so I am VERY attached to him. Needless to say, we have mounted a decent search/poster campaign in the neighborhood, so *fingers crossed* we get some calls soon!
